At Jumbo from day one, a tailor made comprehensive Corporate Induction program is conducted by the Human Resources department for new joiner’s giving them every information about the organization, its departments, organization structure, facilities, general rules and regulations in the company and the HR policy.

This is followed by On-the-job trainings which is conducted by the concerned department to which the employee is hired for.

Trainings are a way of life in Jumbo. Regular training programs and workshops are conducted in house to develop the skills and knowledge of the employees. These programs are conducted by expert trainers from the principal brand companies. Employees are also sent to principal companies overseas to undergo trainings on products and services dealt by the company. Jumbo invests heavily in conducting trainings for its employees to keep them abreast of technological developments that will enable them to perform better and enhance their career and at the same time develop their personality.

Every employee undergoes performance evaluation to provide them with a feedback system on how they have been performing on the job. An individual’s initiative, competency and accomplishments are evaluated to ascertain their career growth path. If required training needs are analyzed and necessary training sessions are scheduled.
